ZTE Small Fresh 5 launched in China for $145

ZTE has launched an affordable smartphone in China dubbed as ZTE Small Fresh 5. Successor to last year’s Small Fresh 4, the new budget device was officially released yesterday in Beijing.

Priced at 999 yuan, which translates to approximately $145, the ZTE Small Fresh 5 comes in two storage options – one with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage and the other with 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The latter carries a price tag of 1399 yuan or $204.

The ZTE Small Fresh 5 sports a 5-inch HD screen. Powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz, the phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat with MiFavor UI skin on top. On the imaging department we find dual rear cameras of 13MP+ 2MP resolution. There sits a 5MP camera in the front.

Other features include a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and a 2500mAH battery. The ZTE Small Fresh 5 will be available from July 5th in Dark Night Gray, Elegant Gold, Glacier Blue and Green color options.
