ZTE dual screen tablet reportedly in the works

Tablets are the forgotten tech gadgets. While nobody except a few manufacturers are focusing on the tablets, a news report suggests that ZTE is working on a new tablet that goes by the moniker Axon Multy.

What’s cool about the Axon Multy tablet is that it will flaunt a dual screen display, thanks to its foldable form. When unfolded it will act as a tablet with a 6.8 inch screen with the individual resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, and when folded the tablet will have two displays, one on the front and other on the back side, with total 2160×1920 screen pixels.

ZTE will launch the device in collaboration with AT&T in US in mid-October. The tablet, according to initial reports will have a premium price of $650.

For $650, you will get last year’s high-end Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM, and 32GB memory. It will also come with a 3120mAh battery.

In terms of optics, the foldable device offers a single 20MP camera. As the device is foldable, there is no front camera.
