YotaPhone 2 with dual screens was released in Europe in December last year. Now, there are claims that the device will soon make its way into the U.S. market. The firm is said to launch an Indiegogo campaign and sell the YotaPhone 2 in the American market.

Interestingly, the YotaPhone 2 will be arriving in the U.S. market with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Besides the improvements that the Lollipop update brings in, there are significant enhancements to the Yota’s E-Ink interface. With inverted colors, the E-Ink interface looks splendid.

As a result of this update, it should be simpler to set the YotaCover similar to a widget based lock screen and control between the panels on the back display. There are new covers that have joined the already existing options such as Facebook, Twitter, YotaRemote that is a Wi-Fi Smart TV remote, Instagram, YotaNotes that syncs with Google Drive, YotaSports and Yotagram, which is a special Telegram version.

Apart from the rollout of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, the YotaPhone 2 has been launched in a new white color variant. The specifications remain the same as the black variant of the device.

In the European markets, the YotaPhone 2 has received a price cut from £555 in the UK and €699 in other parts of Europe to £440 and €599 respectively.
