The Nougat update for the Xperia X is nearing to a close as noted from the update release schedule from Vodafone Australia. Sony has been beta testing their flagships for quite a while now and things look to be in order as the end of year draws closer.
Last week Sony began seeding out the OTA updates for the Xperia X, Xperia X Dual and X Compact in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Sony was beta testing through two channels, the Nougat beta and the Concept for Android program.
With the Nougat update, Sony has added the option to change font within the system UI. Google has also overhauled many features and brought added customization to the OS. The settings menu has also been revamped.

Competing OEMs are also getting a lot closer to a solid update date for their flagship devices. The OnePlus 3T will be receiving the update very soon as shown from leaked benchmarks. Chinese OEM, Huawei, is expected to be launch Huawei P10Â with Android Nougat out of the box.
