XOLO, TRUE and Nexian Partner with Google to Launch Chrome OS Devices

On Tuesday, Google announced a slew of Chrome OS based devices including Chromebit. In addition to these devices, the firm revealed that XOLO, TRUE and Nexian will be partnering with Google to launch Chrome OS devices. The latest partners will be launching Chrome OS based devices in the coming months.

As of now, there are no details pertaining to these upcoming Chrome OS devices. However, a video shared by Google showcases the Chromebooks from Nexian and XOLO. Eventually, there are increased chances for these firms to launch their Chrome OS based offerings soon.

Notably, Google seems to be aiming to push its Chrome OS based devices aggressively in the Asian markets as it has partnered with India based XOLO, Thai communications giant TRUE and Indonesian manufacturer Nexian.

Furthermore, Google announced that it will be launching ten new Chrome OS based devices in the coming months. The devices will be from Lenovo, HP, Dell and LG.

Also, Google announced that the upgraded Chrome OS will include new features such as a touch-centric interface. The firm is all set to open ARM Runtime for Chrome. This will let Android developers to port the applications to Chrome OS.
