March 20, 2019: Owners of the Redmi Note 7 in India who would like to join the beta testing program for early access to new MIUI 10 features and future Android OS updates can now submit their application. The company has opened registration into the program and it runs for a limited time ending March 22.

March 15, 2019: Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 has a new software update rolling out as MIUI 10.2.3. This is the global ROM (not the Indian version) and is based on Android 9 Pie, the OS that powers the device out of the box.

In the new update, Redmi Note 7 users are getting optimizations for system fluency and improvements to system stability. We also expect plenty of bug fixes and general system-wide optimizations to accompany this update.

The OTA rollout is on, but it usually takes several days before all units receive the download notification. Luckily, we have the download links to both the recovery and fastboot files for manual installation. You can grab them in the table below.
