Every time Xiaomi has put up its affordable as well as popular Redmi Note 4 device for sale in India, it got sold like hotcakes. Once again, Indian customers who had missed their chance in earlier flash sales of Redmi Note 4 will get the opportunity to get their hands on one. Xiaomi will begin the next pre-orders for the device on April 28th.

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 4 in August 2016 in China and it arrived in India this year in January. One of the best priced smartphones in the affordable range with mid-range specs, Redmi Note 4 can be the best bargain for someone looking for a phone in the under Rs 15,000 range.

  1. Great phone for the price .My brother had his heart fixed at it all until he saw the Lenovo P2.Although the Redmi is much better in all ways he seems to like that the P2 has a 5000mAh battery which is all he cares about which should give him power for atleast 3 days .The Redmi is a beautiful phone .They’ve integrated all these great features and done what they do always and provided them at a really low cost.Their marketing method is also a smart one to create Demand for the phone, something I really like about Xiaomi and 1+

  2. it’s great that Xiaomi started this pre-order option, now the true Xiaomi Redmi note4 lovers can easily buy their favorite device without going through the hassle of flash sale and coming back empty handed!! good work xiaomi!!

  3. Xiaomi never fails with price to performance ratio, this looks like a great phone with good specs at an even better price. I love the black colour, keep it up Xiaomi. 🙂

  4. Might be just me, but quite frankly, I hate their Marketing Strategy in India.

    1. Ikr, its bloody annoying. I dont want to wait for ages to buy a phone. I end up spending a bit of the money I saved up everytime I start waiting for their sales. Easier to just buy some of the easily available alternatives.

    2. Agreed. I mean, just because I am 5 minutes late to get online, the stocks are over? I had tried twice to get this phone. Then I did exactly what you said and yes, that was easier.

    3. Which phone did you end up buying ?

    4. LeEco Le 2, for my sister. I have a couple of Xiaomi accessories, and they are all really really good, but again, coming back to their marketing strategy, it’s been years already and It’s high time, they build up some real stocks, and start selling like the other brands.

    5. I think they do it for the hype these days! Their devices are all great ! 🙂

    6. It isn’t really nice for us but look from their point of view. How they create demand and also manage to Supply accordingly with slight gaps. This method helps them to increase demand as its also doubles as a marketing method 😉

    7. Good choice! How is it in reality living without a headphone jack?

    8. Yeah, it is just all about the hype and this model is highly succesful, but what happens when you don’t make it for the flash sales, you wait for the next one, that’s going to happen, like after 10-15 days?
Atleast, Oneplus moved away from their invite system.
Like I said, it’s just my personal opinion.

    9. No doubt about that, their devices are all great and their prices resonate well with the Indian market. Also, the hype method has worked out really well for them, so yeah, that’s that.

    10. Yeah, got a headphone connector for the USB – C type. The Audio reproduction through the USB-c type is amazing, though I have only used it for a couple of times.

    11. Isnt it a hassle carrying an extra headset adapter? And are all headphones with usb c jack expensive?

    12. Lucky for them,we Indians want them so badly :/

    13. Indeed. They are quite expensive, and there are not many options in the market available. I have got a small connector for her, and I don’t think, it’s a big deal really, if you can carry wired headphones, you can also carry that small adapter. But, from the price to performance ratio, the phone is very good.

    14. Has a SD 652 compared to the 650, in the Note 4 too, which is a octa core processor.

    15. Hmm yeah I guess 🙂
Just keep the adapter attached to the headphones at all times I guess.

    16. You got it. Why buy a headphone just for this ? xD

    17. Good point 🙂

    18. Oneplus followed that strategy since they were a small company and couldn’t keep up with their demand. Invite systems helped slow the orders down and meet them in time. Maybe Xiaomi has similar reasons?

    19. As far as I know, Xiaomi is a much bigger company than Oneplus, whose invite system was at place because, it was more or less a startup back then . Although, I can see another factor popping up, which might be the price range, since Oneplus has limited devices to manufacture and are on the higher side of the spectrum, it must be the reason Xiaomi is falling short, as their products are more budget launches.

    20. Yes. It’s not the manufacturing deficit but the sheer number of devices they have to actually make to keep up with demand

    21. Hmm. Exactly my thoughts on the matter. Not that I like it :/.
