Xiaomi Mi4 gets India Launch set at January 28

Xiaomi Mi4 India Launch Date

We already knew Xiaomi is looking forward for Mi4 India release by month’s end, and now we have a date, too. January 28 is the that you can mark on your calendar if you too were waiting eagerly for the Mi4’s India launch. It’s happening folks! The launch event is to take place in New Delhi, and we expect the Mi4 to become available on Flipkart Tuesday Flash sale, on February 3.

Let’s just revisit the Xiaomi Mi4 for a little while. There is no doubt Mi4 looks prettier than most devices, including those above its weight (looking at you, Galaxy S5), but it’s spec sheet is pretty solid too. There is a powerful 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor running the show tagged along with cool 3GB of RAM to keep things peppy and instant without lags. The Xiaomi Mi4’s display is 5.0-inch, donning a 441 PPI thanks to its Full HD resolution.

While the camera performance doesn’t really depends on its megapixels as lots of other factors are involved in, but it’s still very pleasing to see a 13MP camera on MI4’s back, with 5MP cam residing on the top of front. There is a 64GB internal storage also available as option, while normal variant comes with old-standard 16GB storage. There is no microSD card support, please note.

Last but not the least, Xiaomi Mi4 sports a 3080 mAh battery, that we think should easily get you through a day without problems.

The event regarding unveiling the Mi4 in India was revealed by former Google-employee, Hugo Barra, Vice President of International Operations at Xiaomi, when he took on stage yesterday at an event in China where the company announced a literally flagship killer device, Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and its little bro, Mi Note.

Pretty upsetting news for India users, though, is that the company has no immediate plans to launch the Mi Note Pro and Mi Note — the two devices we can’t stop drooling over — in the country. For both Mi3 and Mi4, it’s taken company as many as 6-8 months to launch devices in India.
