A new leak coming in from China suggests that Xiaomi could debut Snapdragon 836 toting devices in second half of the year.
In other words, the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 will be powered by the yet-to-be-official Snapdragon 836 chipset. We can also expect the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to feature the same chipset.
Recently, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 was also rumored to come with Snapdragon 836 chipset. In fact, it is believed to be the first smartphone to feature the chipset.

In case you are wondering, the Snapdragon 836 SoC will be an incremental upgrade over the existing Snapdragon 835 SoC. There won’t be any huge changes but you can expect higher clock speed and few other improvements.
