One thing that everyone wants to know while buying a new smartphone is the camera quality. Interestingly, Mi Max 2 from Xiaomi, which was launched this afternoon in China, flaunts 12MP rear camera. The official sample images (posted below) look amazing both in daylight and low light. But, how the camera will perform in real life is still a mystery.
Anyway, the device comes with 1.25µm pixel Sony IMX386 sensor, dual LED flash, and supports Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). Further, the device has dark light quality enhancement technology, which enhances the photos taken in low light as you will see in the samples below.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes in two variants of 64GB storage and 128GB storage coupled with 4GB RAM with the same camera setup for both the devices. Further, the price of Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was also announced today. The price of the 64GB variant of Mi Max 2 is 1699 Yuan, while 128GB will cost 1999 Yuan.
