Mi A1 Pie update 2

December 23, 2018: Xiaomi released the first Android 9 Pie beat to the Mi A1 in early December 2018 and about three weeks later, the stable version has now been released. The update, as usual, is targeting a few early adopters who were in the beta program before spreading the love to more users of the handset.

The Pie update is arriving as ROM 10.0.3 and includes a new Android security patch for the month of December 2018. We have the download link in the table below, at least for those who can’t wait for the OTA to arrive in the coming days or week for that matter.

Original article below:

Xiaomi Mi A1 users are among the few people outside Google’s Pixels that are guaranteed regular software updates on time. It is also one of the few midrange devices that have already been upgraded to the latest Android 8.0 Oreo thanks to the fact that it is part of Android One.

Xiaomi Mi A1 receives a similar amount of updates from the company compared to what devices running MIUI receive and even though it’s part of Android One, the Mi A1 hasn’t been mostly among the fastest to receive updates. Nonetheless, on this page, you’ll find all that you need to know about Mi A1 software updates, be it the regular monthly updates or major OS upgrades.

WARNING: Rolling back the Mi A2 Lite to Android Oreo after updating to Android 9 Pie is not recommended because it may affect normal functioning or even brick your device.
