Xiaomi is rolling out an OTA update to the Mi A1 with the latest December 2017 security patches. The update comes in at 153 MB in size and is aimed at improving security, stability, and performance of your device.
The security update is on the roll as we speak. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, head over to your device’s Settings » About phone » and manually check for system updates from there.
Xiaomi is currently testing Android Oreo update for Mi A1 with select people who volunteered to test the beta software. Once relieved of bugs/issues, the company will provide Android Oreo for download to all Mi A1 users. We are expecting the update to release by year-end.
