After a short period of beta-testing Android Oreo on the Xiaomi Mi 6, the device is finally receiving the stable version as part of the latest MIUI 9.2.3 update. This is rolling out to the global version of the Mi 6, which not only receives Oreo, but also a bunch of new features, bug fixes and plenty of optimizations. The new Oreo firmware is available for flashing via fastboot or recovery, but either method requires distinct files. You can check out more about this update on the official Xiaomi forum, where you’ll also find download links to your preferred version.
