At the launch event, Xiaomi promised that the stable version of MIUI 10 will arrive somewhere in September or October 2018. And indeed the company has delivered on its promise by commencing the official rollout of the stable version of MIUI 10 to multiple devices using the China ROM.
Over the recent past, we’ve seen several leaks suggesting that MIUI 10 stable for the likes of Xiaomi Mi 6, Redmi Note 5 (also known as Redmi Note 5 Pro in India), Mi Note 2, Mi 8 SE and others had begun rolling out. But it’s only now that Xiaomi has made this information official via its forums.
In addition to the above, other devices on the receiving end of the latest MIUI 10 stable update include the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi S2, Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi MIX, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and Xiaomi Mi 6X.

The update is coming in over the air, meaning it will be some time before all units receive the download notification. You can wait, but you can also force the update via your phone’s Settings > About phone > System update and install the new software manually.
Note that this stable update is targeting users of the Chinese ROM of MIUI, but it’s an indicator that it won’t be long before a similar update arrives on the global MIUI 10 ROM. Still, both ROMs bring things like new full-screen navigation gestures, a naturally pleasing sound system, powerful and easy to use AI, IoT interconnection, and lots of camera improvements and optimizations.
Xiaomi says due to the different test links of the Mi MIX 2S and Mi 8, which are currently testing Android 9 Pie beta with MIUI 10 on top, the duo will receive the stable version at a later time.
