Available in Black and Gray color, the Xiaomi Black Shark gaming smartphone features a big wide-angle 5.99-inch display. Underneath the fine metal body finish of the Xiaomi Black Shark is the latest version of Qualcomm’s latest the Snapdragon 845 SoC which runs a total of 8-cores that can click a max speed of 2.8GHz.
As an icing on the cake, the Xiaomi Black Shark runs the Android Oreo v8.0 operating system out-of-the-box and is based on Black Shark’s JOY UI. You get two variants of the Black Shark phone; the first has a RAM/ROM combination of 6GB/64GB, while the second variant is 8/128GB, with no support for external storage via a micro SDcard.
The Black Shark comes with a dual camera set-up at the back: a primary 12MP lens and secondary 20MP lens with dual LED flash. On the front, there is a single 20MP selfie camera. The main camera has a wide F/1.8 aperture for optimum performance under low light, while the selfie camera has an aperture of F/2.2.
Xiaomi also made sure the device didn’t lack in the battery department, and that’s laudable. Because you need as much power as you can get to enjoy gaming, Xiaomi embedded a non-removable 4,000mAh Lithium-Ion battery with USB-C Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging.
