Wileyfox Android 7.1.1 update to release this month

The British manufacturer Wileyfox has announced the Android 7.1.1 Nougat roadmap for its devices. Wileyfox is a new kid on the block of smartphone OEMs being only two years old. In this time-span, the company has released only 10 devices with CyanogenOS out of the box which it is going to update to Android 7.1.1 this month.

The Nougat roadmap for Wileyfox devices has been outlined by the company in a Facebook post. The Swift 2 series will be the first to get the Android 7.1.1 update which will be within next two weeks followed by the Swift and the Storm series within next 4-5 weeks. The Spark X and Spark + will receive the Nougat by the end of April.

As all the Wiley devices are Cyanogen OS based, the company specified that all Wiley exclusive features of Cyanogen OS will continue to exist in the Nougat OS upgrade.

Meanwhile, OnePlus has released new Open Beta updates for the OnePlus 3 and the OnePlus 3T, upgrading the software version to Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

    1. I got mine 2 weeks ago! Try to go to Settings / Update to “force” update

    2. You’ve probably got the Spark or Spark+ – they were updated 2 weeks ago.
      Spark X update is just not ready yet – Wileyfox have confirmed to me it should be done in a couple of weeks….bet they said that back in April too though.
