The carpooling app, Waze Rider, currently available only in Bay Area and Israel, has come up with a new update to its app that will further solve your car pool problems and make life easy for you.
The new update lets you join a ride that’s already available and close to your pickup and destination spots, instead of making you wait by booking the ride in advance. Though the existing feature still remains, the new feature is just an icing on the cake.
Further, to improve your chances of getting a ride ASAP, the app makes you walk.. Wait, WHAT? Yes, but for your own benefit. It’s simple. The driver won’t change his route for you, you have to. So, walk to a nearby spot that’s on the driver’s route to increase your chances of catching a ride as soon as possible.

Also, you can now inform the driver when you have arrived at the pickup spot by tapping the “I arrived” button on your app.
