Vodafone Xperia Z5 Nougat update delayed further in Australia

Looks like the Sony Xperia Z5 users is Australia will have to wait longer to enjoy Android Nougat on their devices. As per Vodafone Australia’s software update timeline, the Nougat update for the Z5 has been delayed due to an error.

The update was being tested by the carrier since a few weeks now, but no release date was provided. If any bugs or issues are found during this testing period, then the update is usually not released to the public.

And that is what has happened with the Nougat update for Xperia Z5 on Vodafone Australia. The smartphone has already received the Android 7.0 update in other regions around the world. It is normal for carriers to take longer to release a major software update.

If you own a Sony Xperia Z5 on Vodafone Australia, we’re sorry to tell you that you will have to wait longer to get the Nougat update. We are not sure how long it would take. Once it is released, we will let you know.
