Vivo X20 benchmarks available at Geekbench

[Note: Check updates at the bottom of the page.] If you have been following the news lately, then you probably already know that Vivo is going to announce a new smartphone very soon in China, the Vivo X20. There have been a lot of leaks and rumors surrounding the Vivo X20 in the past — include how it would look — but now we have its benchmarks available, too.

Taking a look at Geekbench listing where the Vivo X20 is listed as PD1710 (model number), it is safe to say that the phone will be powered by — as rumored — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, an octa-core processor clocked at 1.84GHz. The benchmark listing also says that it will pack a generous 6GB RAM, which perfectly aligns with some previous rumors.

The Vivo X20 scores ‘1593’ in single-core testing, whereas the multi-core score is ‘5770’. These scores are pretty good and it appears to be one of the most powerful phones from the company. And in case, you forgot, this phone is also expected to sport a 5.8-inch FullView display which is similar to what we saw on the recently launched Vivo V7+.

Lastly, in case you missed it, the Vivo X20 is scheduled to launch on September 21st, which means that we are just a few days away from the launch. So if you are interested in this smartphone, then be sure to be on a lookout for more info.

Update [September 15, 2017]: There is a new listing on Geekbench which specifically mentions the device name as Vivo X20A. The details of processor and Processor ID remain same, BTW, which means that PD1710 is indeed X20. The new listing mentions the device as Vivo X20A — there could be few more models of the X20 in the pipeline, like X20B, X20C, etc.
