verizon software updates

Verizon is currently seeding new software updates for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, LG G6, Motorola Moto Z Droid edition, and the Moto Z Force edition. All of these devices are getting the update over the air, and also include new security patches.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets the October Android security patch, improvements to the Live Focus camera, KRACK Wi-Fi patch, and some bug fixes. The software version is N950USQU2BQJA. In the Camera app, the Live focus button has a brighter background and clearer text for light and distance info.

The LG G6 also gets the October Android security patch, and the software version is VS98813A. Apart from a new security patch and some additional bug fixes, there isn’t anything new in the update. LG recently released the Oreo update for the LG V30 and V30+.

Finally, the Moto Z Droid and Droid Force smartphones get the latest November Android security patch, and a new AppFlash app. With this new app, you can try out an app before installing it on your device and discover other useful apps. The software version for this update is NCLS26.118-23-13-3.
