Verizon rolling out July patches to the LG Zone 4 and LG Stylo 2

Samsung Galaxy J7, Galaxy J3, Moto Z updates

There’s no denying that lately, Verizon Wireless has been at its best level when it comes to rolling out software updates, be it major OS upgrades or monthly security patches. The latest to join the July 2018 security patch party are the budget LG Zone 4 and LG Stylo 2.

The two devices are about two years apart, but it’s great to see Verizon giving equal attention to the duo. Like any other update, owners of the LG Zone 4 and Stylo 2 can expect to receive OTA download notifications once the updates are ready for their devices.

It’s recommended that you chill out for the OTA notification to arrive, but since this might take days or even a week(s), you can also go the manual way via the device’s Settings menu.

The LG Zone 4 update is rolling out with software version X210VPP10d while those using the LG Stylo 2 can expect version VS83520j. As noted, OTA updates take time, so don’t fret in case you haven’t seen one on your device by now.
