Verizon Wireless is rolling out a new software update to the Motorola Moto Z Play Droid that brings the much awaited Android 8.0 Oreo alongside a new security patch for the month of June 2018. The update arrives as software version ODNS27.76-12-30-2.
Although it comes a time when other regions already received the Oreo update, it’s still great to see the Big Red taking care of a device that has been succeeded twice. Also, it’s worth noting that the latest update brings a bunch of bug fixes and stability enhancements to the device, so make sure you grab it once the OTA notification arrives.

The new update is rolling out over the air, meaning it may take a few days or weeks before everyone gets the download notification. So, if you haven’t seen the notification yet, worry not for it is coming soon.
