Verizon Pixel and Pixel XL update brings March security patch and bluetooth fix, build NOF27B

The Pixel and Pixel XL are indeed powerful devices and with a hefty price tag that accompanies them, buying an unlocked device without a contract seems an almost ludicrous idea. Even if your mobile carrier offers you a contract, you’re always worried if updates for carrier-locked devices would receive regular updates or not.

But do not worry about the Verizon Pixel and Pixel XL though. The devices have received a software update version NOF27B and it includes the following changes-

Changelog

  • Increased reliability of sending and receiving calls with Honda Bluetooth carkit
  • Latest Android Security Patches

If you’re a Verizon customer and own either the Pixel and Pixel XL, the update notification should be along the way. In case you haven’t, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates on your device.

Also ensure that your device is sufficiently charged and your data is backed up safely. We also recommend our readers to download the update using a stable Wi-Fi connection. The update further includes miscellaneous updates and optimizations for your Pixel device.
