Verizon Galaxy S4 Lollipop update now rolling out, build LRX22C.I545VRUGOC1

While most of the US carriers are yet to push out the Lollipop update for Galaxy S4, Verizon has taken a step forward and has already begun rolling out an OTA update for the device with Android version 5.0.2 and build number LRX22C.I545VRUGOC1.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update for your Verizon Galaxy S4 will bring material design and a number of useful new features. You’ll also get a new lockscreen and a slightly pretty TouchWiz UI.

The OTA update notification should automatically arrive for you, but in case it doesn’t you can always force check for the update from your device’s “Settings » About device » Software update » and press Check for updates”.

My home screen no longer works. The TouchWiz fails as soon as I touch the screen. Phone constantly restarts. Calls drop all the time now. Phone stays hot. Settings have been stripped down to “About” and “Legal”. Battery dies in 2 hours even when phone is sitting idle. At 15% battery, the screen turns on every 60 seconds to tell me that the battery is low. Garbage is all it is. I want to “downgrade” to the old version. Give me back my working phone!
