Verizon Galaxy S10, S10e and S10 Plus getting OTA update that improves fingerprint sensor and camera performance

Verizon S10 update

Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 owners are receiving a new update today. The Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 plus, and Galaxy S10e, are receiving their second system update since their release. FYI, the first update was rolled out on the day of the release of these phones.

The updates come as build ASD3, the same build that rolled out to Sprint and T-Mobile S10 sets too earlier. Yes, the updates will fix the fingerprint sensor issue (S10 and S10+) and also improve the camera performance on the phones.

The update also ups the security patches to the March 2019, and that rounds up the changelog.

The software build for the Galaxy S10 is G973USQU1ASD3, while that for the smaller Galaxy S10e is G970USQU1ASD3, and G975USQU1ASD3 for the S10 Plus.

Verizon is the first major carrier in the US to update the S10e with ASD3 build. The device hasn’t been given as much love as its stronger older brothers at T-mobile, Sprint, even AT&T. Thank you, Verizon, for helping a brother out.

If you have any of these phones and are a Verizon user, you’re going to love this news. so go get your latest updates now!

BTW, Verizon recently released their 5G network in two cities in the US, which right now can be used only on a Moto Z3 with 5G Moto mod. Though, a greater device in Galaxy S10 5G — the fourth Galaxy S10, yes — is just around the corner. You will be able to pre-order the Galaxy S10 5G at Verizon from April 18, with deliveries taking place from May 16 when the device releases for the public.
