Verizon Galaxy Nexus Price dropped to 1 cent on Amazon

Amazon just made it easier than ever to own the current Nexus smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. All new Verizon customers that sign up for service through Amazon’s store can get the phone for just $0.01. Unbelievable, isn’t it? And even if you are an existing customer, looking to upgrade, it will just cost you $29.99.

While the Galaxy Nexus has been around for almost a year now, and its specs may not be as impressive anymore, as a lot of current and upcoming phones, it is still a solid smartphone to have.  Being a Nexus, it was still the first in line to get the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and  update, and has just started getting the bump-up to Android 4.1.2 this week, while a lot of higher-specced phones are still stuck on Android 4.0. Not to mention, the Galaxy Nexus will be among the first devices to get the Android 4.2 update from Google, whenever it comes out. Being a Nexus does have its privileges, you see.

This is an awesome deal as you get a really solid Android device, for next to nothing, and even with all the newer, shinier phones lined up for release in the next few weeks, the Galaxy Nexus still holds up its end as a premium, high-end smartphone.
