This is a photoshopped Huawei Nova 2 teaser that uses Shutterstock image, not official anyway

Someone messed up! The above teaser image for the Huawei Nova 2 is a fake. Now, we can’t be sure if this is an official teaser from Huawei, as this was posted by a Weibo user. We can, however, be sure that this teaser is not real.

The photo, of the group taking a selfie in a car, has been taken from Shutterstock. Also, in the original image, there is no sun in the background. The teaser was supposed to tell us that the Huawei Nova 2 can take exceptional selfies, even with the sun in the background.

The Huawei Nova 2 is supposed to be announced this month. It would feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, the Kirin 658 processor, a dual-camera setup at the back, a 20MP front camera, and a 3000mAh battery.

Once again, we are not pointing any fingers at Huawei, because the teaser doesn’t come from the company. This is clearly a photoshop job by the Weibo user who shared it. So, if you believed that this image was clicked using the Nova 2, then we’re sorry to tell you that it’s not.
