The Samsung Galaxy S9 (and S9+) can be safely said to be the best Samsung smartphones at the moment. Given the fact that Samsung is marketing these handsets for their imaging abilities, as much as declaring a ‘camera reimagined’ hype, it’s worth looking at some low-light shots the Galaxy S9’s camera can produce.

We think you should see both the low-light shots given here, and the live focus shots, as also the 960FPS video recording (comparison with iPhone X) before making a decision to buy your next premium smartphone.

The above shot was taken with the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the following was observed:
- Shots of moving objects have lesser detail than objects that are still (not in motion)
- Live Focus works quite well in low light
Now check out shots of some still subjects captured by the S9 and S9 Plus:
Motionless objects have more detail and more focus and super sharp.
The Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus, and Note 8’s camera were all impressive and gave pretty good shots under low light. But so far, Samsung seems to have stepped up the low light photography notch with the Galaxy S9.

The hue of the street lights, the reflection, the wet floor, and the green color of the leaves; all beautifully caught by the Galaxy S9 Plus dual lenses.
Here, too, almost no detail is left out. The hues of the street light, the wet, reflective floor. Look closely and you’ll notice how sharp and clearly separated the colors of the stripes on the road are.
