3D content is always pretty fascinating and you might have seen a couple of videos on ‘hacks’ on how to make your smartphone screen display 3D content. However, in just a few months you might be able to view 3D movies and videos right on your smartphone screen without having to spend a ton of money on expensive accessories.
Thanks to CNET, we’ve got a ton of information regarding the cool Holoscreen protector which acts like any other normal screen protector; however, when needed you could use Lucid’s app to watch videos and movies in 3D without sacrificing any screen quality when not using the application.
The screen protector is also just as sleek as other traditional screen protectors in the market and there’s no banding or ghosting at all which is pretty cool.
More importantly, the Holoscreen protector would be available for several devices which is pretty cool and would have a price tag of around $30 to $40 which frankly is just fantastic.
You could also take your very own 3D photos and videos and share them as well as view them on your device; however, this only works on devices which have dual cameras.
Nonetheless, it’s great to see cool inventions such as this pop up at random. The Holoscreen protector would be available this summer.
If you aren’t a big 3D fan, the Holoscreen protector can be used like any other normal screen protector too so it’s a win-win situation either way.
