The Tesla Android app has been updated with some new features and improvements. If you own a Tesla automobile, then you may want to update your app.
According to the changelog, the update now allows you to swipe and switch between Tesla energy products and vehicles you own. Another new that is new is pre-conditioning. This allows the car to heat its batteries when the outside temperature is too cold.
A heated battery will improve driving and charging performance, hence it is recommended. Tesla says that it is best to start pre-conditioning the battery at least an hour before you leave. This also requires a software update to be installed on the car, version 2017.50 to be precise.
You can download the app update from the Play Store right away. Apart from that, there aren’t new changes in the app. The latest app version is 3.2.3-336.
