Moto G4 Plus users on Telus should prepare themselves for the Android Nougat update. According to a document uploaded by the carrier, the release date for the Moto G4 Plus Nougat update is slated as February 13.
Therefore, in a few days time, the Telus Moto G4 Plus would get the Nougat update, along with some bug fixes. The Moto G4 and G4 Plus started to receive the Nougat update a couple of weeks ago.
The Nougat update was also supposed to be available in Europe by now, but it was delayed till the end of this month. Users in India received the update in December last year, and soon, users in Canada will get it too.
Motorola has been hard at work testing and releasing updates for its latest smartphones. Recently, we learnt that Canadian carrier Koodo would also be releasing the Nougat update for the G4 Plus on February 11th. So, that’s Telus and Koodo covered in Canada.
