Sony Xperia 10 announced with 21:9 aspect-ratio display at $349

Sony has just announced the Xperia 1 at MWC which is the company’s flagship device for the year. The Xperia 1 has the super tall 21:9 aspect ratio display; however, it isn’t the only device coming with the 21:9 aspect ration since the Sony Xperia 10 and the Xperia 10 Plus have also been unveiled at MWC with the tall aspect ratio displays.

The Sony Xperia 10 comes with a 6-inch, 21:9 aspect ratio LCD display with a 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Xperia 10 Plus comes with a 6.5-inch, 21:9 aspect ratio LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2520. This means the Xperia 10’s display has a slightly higher DPI than the Xperia 10 Plus.

Both devices have large top bezels; however, the chins on the devices are fairly thin. The devices also have dual-rear camera setups; however, the sensors are different.

The Xperia 10 has a 13MP + 5MP dual camera setup while the Xperia 10 Plus features 12MP + 8MP dual cameras. The Xperia 10 is powered by the Snapdragon 630 coupled with 3GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage along with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 2,870 mAh battery.

The Sony Xperia 10 Plus is powered by a slightly better process which is the Snapdragon 636 coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Sony’s latest mid-range devices would be available at a starting price of $349.99 for the Xperia 10 while the Xperia 10 Plus would be available at $429.99.

Both devices would be available with Android 9 Pie pre-installed on March 18th in the U.S.
