We’ve just got our hands on a few more snippets of information on the upcoming flagship from Samsung. A leakster going by the twitter handle of mmddj_china has leaked out the build numbers of the device.
The devices in consideration here could possibly be the upcoming Galaxy S8 and the less-often rumored Galaxy S8 edge. According to the leak, the Chinese versions of the Galaxy S8 supposedly carry the build numbers G9500ZCU0AQA3 (regular S8) and G9550ZCU0AQA3 (S8 Edge), while the build for international variant goes by G950FXXU0AQA4 and G955FXXU0AQA4 for the S8 and S8 Edge respectively.
Based on the previous Galaxy S8 leak we can kind of say for sure that the S8 Edge is real. Samsung may be expanding its flagship lineup in an effort to make up for the failure that was the Note 7.
