The Galaxy Note 10 could be powered by this new Qualcomm processor!

American multinational Qualcomm has brought forth an improved version of its Snapdragon 855 microprocessor — Snapdragon 855+.

As the name suggests, the processor isn’t something groundbreaking in terms of features and build, boasting the same 7nm chipset as the 855.

However, there are some notable differences in terms of performance figures. Qualcomm has boosted the CPU speed from 2.84GHz to 2.96GHz while also giving the GPU clock a good 15% bump.

Like 855, 855+, too, has support for 5G connectivity and is expected to be at the heart of the top-end devices that are scheduled for launch later this year. Even though there’s no official confirmation, it’s safe to assume that Qualcomm’s newest processor — model number SM8150-AC — would probably power the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Google Pixel 4 devices.

As per Qualcomm, the processor is set to be commercially launched in the second half of 2019.
