Turn your Android phone into a Gamepad for PC with motion controls

Like the way you play car racing games on your Android phone? ..like turning the phone to left to steer the car to left.

Well, how about playing your PC games the same way?

Thanks to the newly released Mobile Gamepad Beta app on the Play store which lets you turn your Android phone or tablet into a fully functional on-screen Gamepad for your PC. And the best part is — it takes advantage of your phone’s accelerometer capability to allow motion controls even for PC Games.

Yes! that means you can play that Need for Speed Game on your PC with motion controls to steer the car using your Android phone.

How does it works? Well, the Mobile Gamepad app works in tandem with a server software installed on your PC that connects to your phone using the WiFi network to which both your Android phone and PC is connected to. It’s important that both your phone and PC are connected to the same network for the app to do its wonders.

The Mobile Gamepad app doesn’t only lets you use your Android phone as controller for PC games, but it also lets launch games on your PC directly from your phone. You just open the app and select the game you want to play and your PC will launch the game, and then your phone has all the controls you’d need to navigate between options and play the game.
