LG Optimus LTE2 Pics and Specs Leaked. Qualcomm S4 Dual-Core Processor Appears!

Some of you probably haven’t even heard of the LG Optimus LTE2. Not surprising, given that LG chose an inopportune time to announce the Optimus LTE2, which was just a few hours after the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 was announced. The Optimus LTE2 is set to become the first smartphone ever to have 2GB or RAM, which was the main feature talked about by LG during its announcement.

Some pics of the Optimus LTE2 have now been leaked, and the processor on the phone has also been confirmed. It will feature the Qualcomm S4 Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.5 GHz — which when coupled with the 2GB of RAM, and other specs such as a 4.7-inch TrueHD display, 2150 mAh battery, voice operated camera — gives a surefire indication that the Optimus LTE2 will be competing with the likes of the Galaxy S3. The Optimus LTE2 will also come with a wireless charging accessory, another much talked about feature of the Galaxy S3.

With the 2GB of RAM as the most defining feature of the Optimus LTE2, no wonder LG chose to have a quiet unveiling of the device. Whether it will sell as well as the One X and the Galaxy S3, the top droid offerings from Samsung and HTC, only time will tell.
