The Chinese manufacturer Oppo has announced a couple of new smartphones called Oppo Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s. These smartphones are the sequels to the yesteryear model Neo 5 (2014). They resemble the last year model with a similar thin, double layered metallic build and laminated back cover.

The specifications of the Neo 5 (2015) and Neo 5s are identical with only some differences. The Neo 5 makes use of a MediaTek MT6582 chipset and packs in 32 GB of expandable storage. On the other hand, the Neo 5s uses a faster 64 bit Qualcomm S410 processor and bundles a whopping 128 GB of expandable storage.

Otherwise, both the Oppo Neo 5 (2014) and Oppo Neo 5s boast of 4.5 inch IPS displays with a resolution of 854×480 pixels. They have similar 8 MP main snappers at their back with f/2.2 aperture and Pure Image 2.0+ sensors. Also, there is 8 GB of native memory capacity on these Oppo smartphones along with 1 GB of RAM.
