E Fun may not be a premium Android device manufacturer, but their offerings are highly popular at retailers such as Walmart. The devices launched by E Fun are available via several online shopping portals and they arrive with aggressive price tags for their reasonable specifications.

The manufacturer is well known for its Nextbook lineup of devices and it has now come up with a 2-in-1 Android 5.0 Lollipop based slate called Nextbook Ares 11. While Asus is dominating the Android based hybrid device segment, the convertible tablet launched by E Fun seems to be a better low-cost convertible.

The device is given an 11.6 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The device has dual 2 MP front and rear snappers and a removable keyboard dock with a couple of full USB ports. The other aspects of the Ares 11 include Bluetooth 4.0, mini HDMI port, micro USB port and Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Though these specifications are not the best ones that can be found on convertible devices, it is definitely sufficient for those looking to achieve basic tablet experience. These innards can definitely be capable of carrying out everyday tasks such as word processing, social networking, light gaming and browsing the web. The major downsides are the low screen resolution and meager RAM in the Ares 11.

For such basic aspects, the Ares 11 is priced at $197 and the detachable keyboard is included in the package. It will definitely quench the needs of those users who want a basic netbook to run the Android apps.
