Motorola shared its Marshmallow update plans earlier in October, right after Google released the freshest release of Android to Nexus devices and AOSP. However, Motorola didn’t include Moto E 2015 to its Marshmallow update roadmap.
We aren’t sure if Motorola would later release the Marshmallow update to Moto E, once the more recent devices get the update, but if you’re someone who wouldn’t want to wait for Motorola to deliver the Marshmallow goodness to your little champ — Moto E 2015, then luckily for you, official builds of CM13 for Moto E 3G 2015 are now available for download.
You can grab the Moto E 2015 CM13 ROM from the download link below and simply flash it via TWRP recovery like you’d flash any other custom ROM. Be sure to also install a compatible Marshmallow Gapps package so that you get Google services like Play Store working on an AOSP based ROM like CM13.
