What is the Triple Threat skin?

Released in 2018 to commemorate the NBA Finals, the Triple Threat skin is a rare basketball skin for females. The model wears a red basketball jersey with purple and white accents, while a distinguishable “Gliders” logo is smeared across the front of the outfit.

She also sports shorts, sneakers — USA stripes — a reversed hat, and high socks. The jersey number is 28.

The outfit is a part of the Half Court set.

Season: 4

What is the Jumpshot skin?

The Jumpshot skin is the male counterpart of the much-celebrated Triple Threat attire we discussed in the previous section. Similar to the Triple Threat, you get a red jersey with the “Gliders” logo across the front, but the accents have been changed to white and golden, instead of purple.

The model also flaunts a gold chain, a red sweatband, and three wristbands — red, golden, and white.  His shorts are black with white and red accents. He has the number 28 jersey — just as the Triple Threat — but comes with a different pair of cool sneakers.

This rare item is also a part of the Half Court set.

Official description: “Vertical victory.”

Season: 4

How to get the Jumpshot and Triple Threat skins?

As mentioned, both of these skins are pretty rare items and have only been available four times since their launch in 2018. Since these are so rare, you’ll have to pay a hefty premium to get your hands on them.

At the time of writing, the items are available for purchase on the Fortnite Item Shop. You’ll have to shell out 1200 V-Bucks to buy one of these skins. So, if you have the cash, promptly head over to the Item Shop inside Fortnite and click on that ‘Purchase’ button.

Will the rare skins give you an edge in matches?

Since these are rare skins and crazy expensive, it’s not unusual for us to expect a little something extra out of these. Sadly, though, none of the cosmetic items, irrespective of how expensive they might be, gives you an advantage on the playing field. You will look cooler, for sure, but they won’t help you win any matches.
