HTC A53 Specs leaked, hints at a premium Desire series phone running Sense 7.0

Renowned leakster Upleaks has just leaked out a new phone, HTC A53, which (going by the specs) seems to be no slouch and might turn up to be the next premium phone in the HTC Desire line. Also, HTC is holding the “Utopia in progress” event at MWC 2015 next month, where it’s expected to release the new HTC One M9, and who knows if this HTC A53 might also share the stage with the company’s next flagship.

HTC A53 specs include MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core 64-bit processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB internal storage. The device will feature a 13MP rear camera, and either a 13MP  OR a 4MP UltraPixel camera on front.

HTC A53 will be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, and interestingly, it’ll also feature the latest version of HTC’s custom skin, Sense 7.0, which is set to debut with One M9 at MWC 2015. We’ll take it as a hint to possible launch of A53 as well alongside the next flagship from HTC.

The device’s design will feature dual-tone color style like some of the recently launched Desire series devices, following will be the color options: Gray/Purple Gun, White/Silver, Brown/Light gold.
