Samsung GT-B9150 Specs — a tablet with 720p display, on-screen keys and dual-core Exynos 5250 processor

Just how many devices is Samsung working on? Judging by the number of devices that are showing up in benchmark results on GLBenchmark recently, quite a lot. After seeing the Galaxy Premier and Galaxy S2 Plus pop up on GLBenchmark, we now have an unknown device carrying the model number GT-B9150.

The GT-B9150 is listed to be using a 1.7GHz processor and a Mali-T604 graphics chip, which point towards Samsung’s Cortex-A15 Exynos 5250 chipset powering the device. Screen resolution is listed as 1280 x 672 pixels, with the remaining horizontal pixels dedicated to onscreen navigation buttons. Android 4.1.1 is the OS version, which is the least one would expect on a device powered by an Exynos 5250 processor.

Now, though model numbers starting with the letter B are usually reserved for Samsung’s QWERTY phones, the 1280 x 672 pixels resolution would suggest that the GT-B9150 is a tablet. However, I’m pretty sure Samsung won’t be making a QWERTY device with a powerful chip like the Exynos 5250 inside, and considering there are rumors of Samsung using the chipset in the Nexus 10, the GT-B9150 is in all probability a tablet.

It is all a bit confusing with these Samsung devices showing up lately, so hopefully we’ll see some more details come out soon to clear this confusion up. Any deductions or guesses from you guys about what the B9150 is?
