The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in China is now receiving an OTA update featuring Galaxy Note 7’s Grace UX. Based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the Note 5 Grace UX update comes with build N9200ZHU3CPL2.
This isn’t the first Grace UX update to Note 5 though, back in November 2016, Samsung rolled out Grace UX to the South Korean variant of Note 5 (SM-N920K) with firmware build N920KKKU2CPI1.
This Grace UX update is exactly what we saw on the Galaxy Note 7. Notably, Samsung re-branded Grace UX to Samsung Experience in the latest Galaxy S7 Nougat beta releases.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will probably get the Samsung Experience update as well when it gets the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Meanwhile, you can enjoy the Note 7’s software experience on your Note 5 with this Grace UX update.
