Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 2018 firmware leaks suggest launch is imminent

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 2018 tunes aren’t new to our ears, but up to now, details of the slates’ availability remain unknown to us. On the brighter side, we have fresh developments to turn to as we attempt to establish the possible release date of these tablets, which will be succeeding the Galaxy Tab S3 and the 2016 Galaxy Tab A 10.1 tablets, respectively.

Galaxy Tab A 2018 firmware

Expected to go by the model number SM-T590, we’ve already seen several instances of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2018, specifically at the FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance. Typically, appearances at these two major bodies imply that the device’s launch date is imminent, but none of these two are as close as what we have right now.

A firmware with version T590XXU1ARG2 has just popped up online and based on previous reports, it’s easy to say that this firmware belongs to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2018. So, what does this mean? Well, it could mean only one thing: that the device has already been finalized and that it’s almost ready for launch, if not ready.

Galaxy Tab S4 firmware

This is the premium slate that Samsung is expected to launch in the coming weeks. Like the Tab A 2018, we’ve already captured pretty much every detail regarding the Tab S4, but we still don’t have an exact release date. However, with this leaked firmware, which has version number T830XXU1ARFB, we are confident that the slate is only waiting for the official launch.

Knowing Samsung, though, none of these two is unlikely to show up at the Galaxy Note 9 launch event, rather, and if previous reports are to be believed, the Galaxy Tab S4 and Galaxy Tab A 2018 could debut at the IFA 2018 event that kicks off on September 1 in Berlin.
