Apple’s dream of getting an injunction against the release of the Galaxy S3 in the US has come to an abrupt halt, as the judge in charge of the case has said that due to her busy schedule because of the existing legal battle between Samsung and Apple, the court order against the S3’s release will have to be postponed to July.
What this means is that the Galaxy S3 will be making its way to American shores on its expected June 21st date and into hands of customers without anything to stop them. The case will be taken up in July however, but at least the launch of the device will not be affected.
So, three cheers for Samsung, who win this one, at least temporarily. See you in the US, Galaxy S3!
