Galaxy Note FE will be final name for refurbished Galaxy Note 7, will release by June end

Some more news regarding the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7. So far, we were lead to believe that the refurb units of the Note 7 would be sold as the Galaxy Note 7R. However, a new report states that Samsung will now be calling it the Galaxy Note FE.

Yes, you read that right, the refurbished Note 7 would be sold as the Galaxy Note FE. And according to the report, FE stands for Fandom Edition. This means that Samsung is only going to target the die hard fans of the Note 7.

The smartphone will indeed carry the model number SM-N935, which we already know. Recently, it was reported that the phone might take longer to be announced in Korea, and that seems to be true. As per the report, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note FE at the end of June.

What we know for sure, is that the refurbished Note 7 won’t be much different in design. The only difference is said to be in the battery capacity, which has been reduced to 3200mAh. The phone would also be cheaper than before. Apart from that, Samsung may also update the processor, but that’s not confirmed. We won’t have to wait long to find out though.
