Best Strategy And Puzzle Based Android Games!

Clash of Clans

Clash Of Clans (Free with In-App-Purchases)

Specialty: Age of Empires fans can find a little solace with this game. Classic raise a town and lead the army kind of strategy game.

Who doesn’t want to raise their own town surrounded by fortified walls, train and lead troops in battle and fight against goblins. Of course, we do. As we said earlier, this game brings the Age of Empire experience to a whole new level for your phone and tablet.

Other than the classic elements of the game, you can also play with and against War wizards, Barbarians, Goblins, Dragons and many more creatures. It must be noted here that the game depends solely on your internet connection. This does not feature any type of single player campaign. But, rest assured, you wont be finding any lack of players to compete with.

One and only thing we find off-putting about the game is that it takes too long to upgrade different elements of the game. We’ve confirmed that this is not an internet connection issue. We hope, Supercell takes care of this.

Worms 2

Worms 2: Armageddon (Paid)

Specialty: Cartoon-ish but well defined graphics does well to please the eyes. Addictive and (literally) bombastic.

If you had those Java based Sony Ericsson phones, this title may seem familiar too you. Worms have come a long way since then.

It retains the same elements like strategically placed worms, flinging of various items from your uber cool arsenal, your screaming squirmy opposition, et cetera but also enhanced in terms of graphics, more items to choose for arsenal and much more.

Although, the praises might never end for this game, we do wish there was online multiplayer available. But that’s just us.

Pocket Tanks

Pocket Tanks (Free with In-App-Purchases)

Specialty: The user doesn’t have to totally depend on In-App-Purchases to get full enjoyment of the game. So, in that sense, it’s free.

It is not very difficult to see that Pocket Tanks takes inspiration from Worms. But nonetheless, it’s fun in its own way. Tanks flinging napalms and grenades and other explosives at other tanks. We love it!

Not only does it has huge inventory of weapons and upgrades but also you can compete with other players online, where Worms is seriously lacking. All-in-all Pocket Tanks s fun to play and the Deluxe pack is totally worth it.

Plants Vs. Zombies

Plants Vs. Zombies 2

Specialty: Awesome boss fights and addictive in general.

The perfect successor of the previous installment, Plants Vs. Zombies 2 brings all that was good about the former one and made it even more perfect while adding cherries on top.

Killing zombies is fun. But killing zombies with plants just screams bad-assery. You can grow plants which will defend your lawn, participate in challenges, earn coins for power ups and much more.

Where's My Water 2

Where’s My Water? 2 (Free with In-App-Purchases)

Specialty: Challenge Modes ensures that even if you have completed the game, you’ll find yourself bored. Creative!

Puzzle games have never been more fun. All you need to do is provide water to the grumpy ol’ crocodile. But it is not as simple as it sounds.

You have to deal with mud, water, poison, stem, ice and green ooze just to keep the croc clean. All the while, collecting ducklings to fully complete the challenge.

You’ll often find yourself stuck at a level, but hints are always there to back you up. Rest assured, Swampy, Allie and Cranky will keep you entertained.

You can crop, raise animals, be friendly with neighbors and build bakeries, sugar mills, dairies and also you can go on fishing. The ultimate entertainment package. It’s here to make a farmer out of you (No, just kidding!).

We do wish it was more free, but if you got some dimes to spend and have a knack of raising cow, sheep and chicken, you can have it all here.

Anomaly_2

Anomaly 2 (Paid)

Specialty: One of a kind tower-defense cum strategy game with catchy graphics.

Wouldn’t you love to raid, destroy and claim the planet of machines. Of course you would. We know we do. And that’s not it, you can even choose to be machines and destroy humans, if that’s your thing.

It is the perfect sequel to highly acclaimed Anomaly Warzone Earth. It is everything that the prequel was and some more. It has the elements of RPGs accounting to different endings based on your personal approach of playing. This makes it even more appealing since you can play it over and again.

The Multiplayer features Tower Defense vs. Tower Offense. Very competitive and engaging. In our opinion, it is money well spent.

Devil's Attorney

Devil’s Attorney (Paid)

Specialty: The most unique strategy game which promises to keep you engaged and entertained.

For the aspiring lawyers, it’s the perfect game and to everyone else, it still is one heck of a turn based strategy game. It’s simple: You are Max McMann, a lawyer and you need to satisfy your clients.

The game features 58 cases to solve and 9 prosecutors to defeat on 3 different difficulty levels. Earn money by solving cases and earn money from them and make it to the top. And you can “pimp” your apartment.

Accounting to it’s cheeky story line and cheesy dialogues, it’s definitely one of our favorites.

If you are not into heavy strategy games, these light mood puzzle ones will appeal you.

You can move any box from anywhere to anywhere and match the same color boxes. Sounds easy, right? Actually it’s not. It’s time limited and you need to score as high as possible. With that score you can compete with other players on leaderboard and it has Facebook integration.

It’s fun and addictive, or rather compulsive.

Specialty: Fast, minimal and highly addictive.

This one is here for people who has a knack for numbers. It’s utterly simple. You swipe the tiles to move them. When the two tiles of same number meet, they will add up.

We need to add them until the total is of either 1024, 2048 or 4096 or even you can go endless, if you so wish. It requires skill with numbers. Even if you are not a digit-maniac, you will find yourself easily entertained
