Google Maps is a popular navigational app that is used by a majority of the Android device users. However, this does not stop the competitors from rolling out new features to their applications to lure the users.

This is the case with HERE Maps that is constantly rolling out updates to the Android application to provide a better mapping experience to its users. Recently, the HERE Maps received reversible lane support in 12 cities, and now a beta program has been launched to help you test the new features before that make their way into the stable version of the app.

The first beta comes with a contextual menu that opens when you tap and hold anywhere on the map. It will offer four bubbles to see the information of the location, get the directions or start the navigation to it. The team also says that they will provide monthly updates to the beta version of the app. Also, you can see an official changelog in the Google Play Store as you will get to know what is new.

The beta is available only in English and it can be accessed by joining the Google Group and visiting this page to becomes a tester. You can also download the app from the Google Play Store.
