T-Mobile REVVL 2 Plus: All you need to know

REVVL and REVVL Plus phones were launched in the last quarter of the previous year with the T-Mobile branding in the US market. Telecom giant T-Mobile has now announced their successors in the form of REVVL 2 and REVVL 2 Plus phones that will go on sale online and on T-Mobile stores come November 16.

T-Mobile’s tagline for these phones, “flagship features without the flagship price” is only half-true as the phones, by no stretch of the imagination, provide flagship specs. However, we must concede that they don’t charge for one either and these phones are, at best, aimed at the price-sensitive.

Why buy the T-Mobile REVVL 2 Plus?

This phone can be given the tag of a basic smartphone that gives you the facility of fulfilling all your fundamental phone needs. Although better than its cheaper cousin, REVVL 2 on almost all accounts, expect less than mediocre photography, underwhelming gaming experience, and overall lag compared to Xiaomi or Huawei phones available in this price range.

However, Xiaomi and Huawei don’t sell directly in the US yet, so you have to make do with what’s available. Having said that, this phone does have a large battery and a good display in addition to the extended two-year warranty. So, if you’re someone who’s looking for a no-frills phone for basic use and that lasts for at least a couple of years, then this phone might be perfect for you.
