Are you planning to pre-order or buy either the Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge from T-Mobile, here is good news for you. When you receive the Samsung device, you will receive an OTA update soon as you start the device.

Well, a 177 MB measuring OTA update will be hitting the smartphones on T-Mobile and this update will bring some bug fixes, potential feature enhancements and performance improvements. After receiving the update, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge on T-Mobile will run on the build number UVU1AOCG.


Right now, there is no information confirming any user-facing changes brought in by this update and everything seems to be behind the scene ones. However, it is important to note that T-Mobile and Samsung are coming forward quickly to fix the bugs and enhance the user experience.

To refresh on the availability information, the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge via T-Mobile have started on March 27 and the handsets will be available for retail purchase on April 10. The carrier is providing the devices with monthly plans such as 12 months, 18 months and 24 months. Those who order the device before April 12 will receive a year’s free subscription of Netflix.
